Hallman in an attempt to substantiate his allegations produces two photographs of a grave yard in Kalinkova

I categorically reject labeling Ukrainian Orphanages “Death Camps. 'This notion apparently comes from an article written by Mr. Terry Hallman, “Ukrainian Death Camps for Children' (http://eng.maidanua.org/node/581 ). First, the use of a term which we use to describe Dachau and Auschwitz is not appropriate for Ukrainian orphanages. In the Social Protection internats for disabled persons (both children and adults), and in Ukrainian mental asylums, there is plenty of neglect, under staffing, lack of resources, lack of adequate medical care, need for proper therapies, proper diet, and so on, but there is no policy of deliberate genocide or murder of the disabled as witnessed in the camps of Nazi Germany.- David Sudermann Northfield, Minnesota

Terry Hallman after two years of failing to provide evidence for his sensational claims of Death Camps for Children recently published some photographs dated 29-December-2007 (One year after Hallman first claimed he had evidence of the horrific crimes of genocide being perpetrated by the Ukrainian Government) These photographs show what appears to be a grave yard located in Kalinovka, Ukraine. They certainly do not constitute what we would consider to be evidence of horrific crimes and they certainly are not hidden from view. Again we need to point out that not one accredited international welfare agency has backed Mr Hallman's assertions and claims that the Ukrainian Authorities are involved in a conspiracy of mass murder or Jeniece of children. This allegation is not supported by the facts or evidence . Evidence that Mr Hallman claimed he had yet still has failed to produce. (two years have passed since he first made his sensational unsubstantiated allegations).

Having had experience in dealing with Mr Hallman in the past we thought it was appropriate to once again undertake some due diligence checks. As we understand Mr Hallman has not visited the Kalinkova Internat Orphanage where the photos were taken. The information that Mr Halman refers to was published on the Internet by David Sudermann. As is often the case Mr Hallman tends to exaggerate and take matters out of context and more often then not plagiarise the works of others to give the impression that he is connected or involved. (A typical trait of con artists and charlatans)

A journalist last year contacted the genuine welfare worker and original author of the article that was published on the Kalinovka Orphanage. He specifically asked if David Sudermann could comment on Mr Hallam's (With whom he has not met) allegations of "Death Camps for Children".

Below is an extract of his reply..

1. It is clear from your quote that you read the recently posted report on the Kalinovka internat on the http://www.deti.zp.ua/ website. I can speak with some authority on the Kalinovka home, which I first visited in 1999. It is true that the children there have a sufficient quantity of food. But there are several nutrition problems: some severely disabled children cannot swallow or digest properly the food they are given. They need a special diet; but that would cost more, and there is no nutritionist at Kalinovka to work out individual diets. Second, because of under staffing, the children who need to be fed by hand, must wolf down their food. Third, Kalinovka has an attached farm and gardens which produce much of the food consumed at the internat. I have been told, though I have not seen it with my own eyes, that children may receive a diet of squash for long periods of time. Since the old director retired in 2007, I am not certain this is still the case.

2. I categorically reject labeling Ukrainian Orphanages “Death Camps.” This notion apparently comes from an article written by Mr. Terry Hallman, “Ukrainian Death Camps for Children” (http://eng.maidanua.org/node/581 ). I hope some of this proves helpful to you.

Terry Hallman the Wife hunter: The begining 1998

In our research we found this gem of a post going back to May 27 1998 when Terry Hallman first visited Russia and Ukraine looking for a wife. He is still looking.

Source: Yahoo Foreignbrides

To all,
I for one think the Russian wives list is a terrific idea! Obviously,
Foreign Brides is mainly geared for those on The Quest--that complex
maze of actually finding a suitable wife. Seems to me that it's a
testament to RW in general that their Western husbands are so
motivated to share AFTER the fact, which makes it that much more
encouraging to me in the searching stages. Also, the Russian wives
site should provide a specialized reference for those who need such
very specific info, without wading through vast quantities of
irrelevant information. The resultant archive should thus end up
being a very useful, handy reference guide. And during The Quest, it
can only be warmly reassuring to a potential bride for us to be able
to show that we have been thoughtful and consciencious enough to
consider well in advance the adjustment and cultural difficulties she
could have--and that we have already networked and prepared
accordingly! The Russian wives listserv can only help, and I think it
is one helluva good idea to do everything we can to make wives and
wives-to-be feel as safe, secure, and comfortable as is possible.
Toward that end, the Russian wives listserv sounds like a HUGE step in
a very good direction for all concerned. Win-Win for all. Works for
me.
Best,
Terry H.

I decided awhile back to search for a wife abroad and opted for the
Web as the obvious means of making at least initial contact. My
biggest concern has been how to protect myself from being fleeced for
cash or cheated in some other way. And a great deal of time is still
devoted to that personal concern: how do I minimize the chances of
getting burned, knowing well that single, searching, and lonely hearts
are very easy to take advantage of. Thus my insistence on keeping a
firm (albeit sometimes unromantic) grip on reality. With all due
caution taken to protect myself, I've focused on networking with
others toward that end. I know it is a concern we all share. Having
read the GQ article, and following it with further readings on the
general topic of mail-order brides, one thing comes to fore that
really bothers me. In my own zeal, which I'm sure is common among
most who are on The Quest, I forgot about what it might be like for
the women around the world who take their chances in the marriage
market (so to speak...) While the GQ article chronicles systematic
abuse of innocent young women brought into the States by one man, one
can only wonder how widespread this is. Like it or not, just by being
on The Quest for a foreign bride we are creating growth in a very
fast-growing industry. And this industry seems to pose a much greater
threat to hopeful young women than it does to those of us who seek
them out. So now I'm feeling a bit guilty because I did not even
think of what the risks are for these women, nor how big those risks
really are! Which brings me to the question: do you think those of us
who participate in this industry--where real people, real feelings,
real lives are being intimately affected--have any responsibility to
somehow try to keep it safe? If so, just for ourselves? Or are we
obliged to seek to protect these vulnerable young women in general as
well?

To all,
I thought it will be useful to provide some perspective here about the
why's and wherefore's for this mail list.

There does not seem to be any other place to freely exchange ANY and
ALL sorts of info related to finding foreign brides in general, and
women from the former Soveit Union (FSU) in particular. It is the
latter that was the primary driving force for starting this list
service. I was frankly a little surprised to catch heat from the
moderators of the previous listserv for asking what I thought were
perfectly legitimate questions about the operations of a major-league
intro agency. One of the moderators seriously flamed me privately and
ridiculed me publicly for doing so. I got the clear impression that
some questions are better left unasked. So it seems that to a limited
degree, the first list service is fine for Q and A, but just don't get
into anybody else's business in depth--even if their business is
introducing people for the purpose of marriage. In other words, don't
ask the HARD questions.

The probing questions are most useful. It's all fine and good to know
the nuances of handling visas, the differences in doing so from
country to country, and hundreds of other little details that are
necessarily associated with finding and marrying a foreign woman. In
fact, these details are invaluable, and I hope they are included here
also. But those details don't matter until and unless we have
actually MET someone, in some manner, for whom and with whom such
preparations are needed. This means using information from one agency
or another to make the initial and perhaps even ongoing contacts. And
that part of it has by and large been a shot in the dark, with time
alone telling if a given route is bogus or not. Some of us have time
to waste like that, even money. Some don't, or prefer not to. It's
frustrating and inefficient, to say the least. So, just share info as
we go along. Who's doing what? Where's the good news? Where's the bad
news? Who's honest? Who's scamming? Who's someplace in between?

That's why this is here. Complete information. Just please keep in
honest, and we hopefully will be able to separate fact from
fantasy/fiction. There are without doubt many lovely women who will
make the best of wives. Sorting through the BS to find them,
regardless of the nature of questions that need to asked, is a crucial
function. It is this function which I hope this list well be able to
serve well.

Also, please note that discussions and information need NOT be limited
to any one geographic women. Feel free to share info on Asian, Latin,
and/or any regions and cultures you wish. This is meant to be as open
as possible in all respects, with the sole purpose being to help each
other as much as possible in finding that special woman whom will
eventually become our wife--no matter WHERE she is!!!

That's it for now. Here we go. Let The Quest ... continue!!

Best to all,
Terry Hallman

New web site -- Ukraianian women

For those of you who might be interested in Ukrainian
women, I've just finished a web site (pro bono, I'm
not getting paid for this) at
http://www.ukrainian-beauty.com/

The owner is a nice Ukrainian lady who tried to do it
on her own. She was having some problems with it,
someone I know referred it to me, and I decided to
help her out and build the site for her.

For those interested in Russian and Ukrainian women
and travel to those countries to meet them, I can
probably answer a lot of questions. I'm American, in
case in matters, and spend a lot of time in Russia.
Maybe now I'll also go to Ukraine ;-)

Below is a full list of Terry Hallman's most inner thoughts on tghe forum in his search for a Russian/Ukrainian bride.,  This is the real reason he visited Russia and Ukraine.  Over ten years living in the region and he could only speak the most basic Russian.Ukrainain.  He never did find a wife.

Internet costs in Ukraine fall

Cost of broad band Internet access in Ukraine falls. 90UAH a month for unlimited high speed Internet is radialy available via ADSL or direct cable.

meanwhile Terry Hallman continues to mislead his business partner Jeff Mowatt who continues to pump their dodgy Marshal Internet Plan falsely claiming High Internet costs and vast Million dollar profits available for the plucking. The make us rich so we can donate money to Ukraine orphanages.

It is difficult to know if Jeff Mowatt is being conned by Hallman or both Arte actively engaged in a exercise of self deceit.

Terry drunken stupor fires off more abuse backed by lies and deceit

Mt Hallman appears to be at it again pumping the Internet with his extreme acts of delusion.(Classic symptoms of an alcoholic suffering) Hidden always in this statement are some truths and fueled with many lies.

Jeff Mowatt and Terry Hallman are self appointed human rights vigilantes (Hallman is a reject from the US Peace Corps). They are trying to build a reputation for themselves. Hallman lives in Kharkiv Ukraine, 89 Moscovsky prospect (he is not registered with the OVIR), on an allowance of 350$ a month supplied by Jeff Mowatt., They run a shame company called People-Centred Economic development. It is illegally set up in Ukraine. Both Mowatt and Hallman pump the internet with sensational lies (Like Ukrainian Orphanges being Death Camps for Children and Officals are engaged in a deliberate policy of genocide and mass murder of unwanted children

Hallman is now trying to revive the Kharkiv spare parts from baby's story, with the help of his partnetr Jeff Mowatt, to help make a name for himself . This time he is linking it to Hitler Dolls amnd human skin.

The Kharkov hospital incidence he refers to is very much a lie and most certainly does not stand up to proper scrutiny. It is one of those urban myth like a guy going out for the night, meeting a girl=, getting lucky and going home for passionate night cap only to wake up in a bath backed in ice and a mobile phone placed next to a not which reads "Call the emergency number - your kidneys are missing". The Khariv story is based on false facts as many Hallman's unfounded claims are. Thankfully his name and address have been reported to the authorities. What is true is that Hallman has no money or investments. His company is a scam, but as his partner Jeff Mowatt has indicated he is working hard to con money out of the welfare sector to help fund his retirement.

Nestor, a neo Fascist living in the USA, gives him a serve for his money.

If they're Hitler's hairs, some of those hairs will have workable quantities of DNA. Look out. And, watch for human skin to rocket in value on the commodities market.

Nostalgia, longing for the good ol' days, when the Nazis were the good guys compared to the Soviets, and Ukrainians had only those two choices. In that aftermath, I seriously doubt that Maternity Hospital Number Six in Kharkiv thought they were doing anything wrong. Those folks are roaming the streets, considered entirely normal in local context. Dr. Jekyll and Jack the Ripper.

As a literary aside, Dickens warned of ignoring a neglected girl and boy named Ignorance and Want ('A Christmas Carol: Ghost of Christmas Present') I met Ignorance in Tomsk. His name was Dmitri, a street child, nine years old. I brought him help, but he died during winter before I returned. I met Want in Crimea, at my front door, and raised Hell about it in Kyiv Post five years ago.

Kharkiv, now. Babies get minced up at birth and parts get sold on the world market. They're not neglected, with a vengeance, but that's not what Dickens had in mind. I do not believe that most people here immediately see anything problematic about that enough to bother with it. Slaughter is as much a part of life and history as vodka and borscht. In this context, Mafia hardly stands out any more than air and water. Ukraine is showing progress especially among young folks, but this place is just as insane as anyone can imagine if you allow that chopping up babies and selling the pulp is, somehow, repugnant. If such a thing needs to be explained, there's no point in trying. It needs explaining to more people than not.

Hitler dolls appearing in Kyiv? Now you've got a little more context in a modern mode.
